u.a, the well-known japanese superhero institution, has determined that a korea-japanese partnership needed to be settled noticing the increasing rate of crimes in the neighbor country. they have perceived a bizarre phenomenon, considering japan was the only country with a superpower driven society, korea soon started following their steps. k.u.a is the newly korean superhero affiliate where heroic citizens will be able to develop their flourishing quirks to become the next symbol of peace.

this rp is based on the japanese anime boku no hero academia (there is no need to watch the anime to join, although the roleplay is heavily inspired by it.)

this is an au where every person has a special, superhuman ability called a "quirk" that is unique to themselves. students with an exceptional ability to control their quirks and want to use it for the good of the nation, attend k.u.a

this is a prestigious academy that specializes in helping students train and hone their quirks so that they may one day grow up to be heroes, protecting the nation from evil villains.

thus during your time in k.u.a, you will encounter many difficulties and obstacles, designed to test your strength and resolve in order to determine whether you are capable of being a worthy hero.

the academy is split into three years, you are allowed to choose any year however depending on your faceclaim we strongly encourage you to follow this guideline.

each year will also contain two classes, class a and class b which every student will be randomly assigned to once they arrive at the academy.

each class will only be accepting ten students, so the whole academy in total will only contain 60 students.

note: if a certain year is already full (check masterlist) choose a year closer to your faceclaims year (e.g. if your muse is a 99 liner, please do not pick year three.)

here is a list of quirks you can take inspiration from to build on your character. you are reminded that the quirk your character has is not only limited to what we provide you; you may come up with your own, however it is important to ensure your character's quirk has it's own weaknesses and limits to prevent overpowering other players or instances of godmodding.

please be reminded that a quirk is limited to one per person, in order to ensure diversity in the academy. thus if the quirk is noted as taken, you will not be able to use the same quirk; however a modification of it is allowed.

also keep in mind that the quirk you choose must enable you to be someone to fight in battle as you are training to be a super hero, while your quirk does not need to be anything physical or stereotypically superhero (such as super strength) you need to ensure that a quirk you choose can allow to you to fight, as that is the premise of being in k.u.a.

note; all for one, one for all, rewind and overhaul are not permitted as quirks.

cemidine - allows the user to spray a glue-like liquid out of holes on the user's head. This substance hardens extremely fast.

fiber master - allows the user to control fabric.

navel laser - allows the user to shoot lasers from their Navel.

tape - allows the user to shoot extremely strong tape from openings on the user's elbows.

engine - gives the user incredible speed by engine-like protrusions in the user's calves.

dark shadow - allows the user to host a shadow-like monster inside their body for use in battle.

erasure - allows the user to cancel out the effects of other's Quirks by looking at them.

deletion - the person has the power to delete a certain scenario in the other person's mind

bone manipulation - the user has complete control over all the bones in their body.

frog form - shows as giving the user frog like powers, such as fast swimming, a long tongue, high jumps.

copy - copy the quirk of anyone they touch for a few minutes

permeation - the ability to pass through physical matter

hardening - allows the user to harden any part of their body.

dark shadow - the user hosts a shadow-like monster inside their body that he is able to materialise and demateriallise at will.

electrification - allows the user to discharge electricity out of the user's body.

sleep gas - allows the user to create and control sleeping gas, user is not immune.

paralyzation - Quirk allows the user to paralyze an opponent's muscles, by staring in the opponent's eyes for 3 seconds.

anishift - the ability to shape shift into animals.

blood manipulation - allows the user to manipulate their blood, such as to harden or restrain others. This also allows the user to reabsorb their blood.

half cold, half hot - splits the user into two, half of the user's body can emit ice, the other half emits fire.

foresight - the ability accurately predict all of the target's future moves and actions for an entire hour.

explosions - allows the user to sweat a substance similar to Nitroglycerin from the user's palms and ignite it to create explosions.

cyrokinesis - allows user to create and manipulate ice.

hydrokenesis - allows the user to form and manipulate water.

cremation - like hellflame, the user is granted pyrokinetic abilities but the flames are blue. the user is able to manipulate and generate the flames with minimal effort. it is said that the flames are extremely hot- possibly more hot than regular flames

clones - allows the user to make Clones of themselves.

air manipulation - allows user to create and manipulate air

cosmic manipulation - the ability to release/use cosmic energy to use as various attacks.

vibrate - the ability to shake anything one touches with their hands, able to create controlled earthquakes.

jet - provides its user with the ability to fly to a certain degree and it also serves as a great evasion ability

absorb and release - allows the user to absorb attacks, then release them as a counter attack.

death stranding - allows the user to jump through time and creates a strong connection with the afterlife.

creation - allows the user to create objects from their body, if they understand the atomic structure of the object.

telepath - allows the user to advise and instruct multiple people at once using telepathy.

brainwashing - allows the user to control the mind of people who verbally respond to the user.

earphone jack - shows itself as Jack shaped earlobes in the user. These can be inserted into certain objects (Computers, Stereos) to create loud noises through vibrations.

rogue - the user has the ability to absorb the life-force energy, personality, and memories of any person he touches. The people he absorbs life-force from will either lose consciousness or end up in a coma, depending on how much he drained from them.

double - create clones on things upon contact.

fire breath - allows the user to blow fire from their mouth.

whirlwind - allows her to manipulate gusts of wind with little to no movement from her body at all, letting her create strong gales and small tornadoes that she has full mastery over.

demon host- hosting a demon inside their body.

wave motion - convert his stamina/vitality into energy and release it in the form of shockwaves. can be used either offensively from his hands, or even fly when unleashed from his feet.

cloud - allows the user to create different sized clouds, dense enough to be touched and hold the weight of people or objects. the user can control the speed and movement of these clouds, allowing them to ride them through the air.

opiniokenises - the user has the ability to control all five senses: sight, hearing, smelling, tasting, and touching. he can inflict damage on any sense or heighten it, but it doesn't last for long unless the user makes the damage permanent, and even then the user hasn't mastered his skills well enough yet.
